❄️ Im Auditorium eröffnet Michael Ellis den Abend mit einem Mix aus Disco Dubs und deepen House Grooves für seine Gästin aus Amsterdam, Kléo. Sie gehört zweifelsfrei zu den Größen der Amsterdamer Dance Szene und ist vielen MusikliebhaberInnen von Red Light Radio, dem Dekmantel Festival und ihrer Präsenz hinter der Theke und den Kulissen des legendären Amsterdamer Labels und Plattenladens Rush Hour bekannt. Ihre Selection dreht sich um House Music in all ihren Facetten, mit einem festen Bindeglied: Rhythm und Groove. Umso passender, dass ihr eigenes Label, welches diesen Februar Premiere feiert, Call 4 Rhythm heißt. Um den Abend zu beenden könnte es niemand passenderen geben als das Freiburger Boogie & House-Urgestein Shaddy. Hands up bis zur letzten Minute, dass die Schneeflocken nur so fliegen.

✨ Die Treppe hoch auf der Empore beginnt ein festes Mitglied der Reach Another System Familie den Abend: Jenne. Mit Wave in seiner schönsten Form fliegen wir mit ihr den Sternen entgegen, wenn Charlie aus Krakau nach ihr die Kontrolle übernimmt. Ihren Sound beschreibt die aufstrebende Künstlerin selbst am besten mit einem froschgrünen 1968er Alfa Romeo Carabo, der genau wie sie bei Vollgas die grenzen zwischen futuristischer Technologie und Old School Elektronik verschwimmen lässt. Mithalten kann dann nur noch Klingberg, der als Host dieses Mal das Closing spielt.

Downstairs, it‘s all about House Music in all its glory. After Michael Ellis opens the night blending Disco Dubs and deeper shades of House, the stage is set for our guest from Amsterdam, Kléo. Without doubt one of the fixtures in the Dutch scene around Red Light Radio, Dekmantel Festival as well as the infamous Rush Hour store and label, she‘ll give her Freiburg debut with an all-vinyl selection ranging all the way from the tropical side of House into the Acid-infused realms, all tied together by nothing but rhythm and groove. February also sees her own label spring to life under the fitting name of „Call 4 Rhythm“. To close the night we couldn‘t think of anyone better than Freiburg‘s Boogie & House-legend Shaddy. High Energy until the very last beat, hitting you like a sonic snow storm.

Upstairs we welcome a firm and beloved member of the Reach Another System family from Frankfurt, Jenne. Part of saasfee* collective, she’s throwing down Wave in it‘s finest form, until giving way to Charlie from Krakow. Hosting „Szum“ since a couple of years, the rising artist herself once compared her sound to a frog-green 1968 Alfa Rome Carabo concept car – going at full speed, you can catch a glimpse into the technological future while paying homage to old school electronics. Engineered to perfection. Slowly bringing the ride to a halt in the early morning hours, it‘s Klingberg himself on closing duties.
